Our Story

Pastor Lee and his family felt called to the city of Lexington in the Spring of 2008 after 24 years of student ministry.  The initial Core Team meetings began in the Fall of 2008 with twelve young adult leaders who would eventually transplant from Greenville, SC to Lexington.  Weekly leadership meetings began at Embassy Suites and quickly moved to Edythe J. Hayes Middle School in January 2009.  The team grew to 45 leaders while having monthly preview worship experiences until the launch of bridgeCHURCH on March 22nd, 2009. 

The church experienced growth as those who were lost and far from God began to find hope in Jesus Christ at bridgeCHURCH.  By fall of 2009, bridgeCHURCH had grown to over 140 attending weekly worship experiences.  The church relocated to the current campus at 160 Dennis Drive in February 2010, growing to over 250 by 2011.  Among the growth are stories of changed lives, homes being restored, and believers engaged in serving our city and bringing Jesus to our world.

The good news is, the best is yet to come…
